Freshmen & Sophomores: ACT Secure & Forward Testing
Freshmen and Sophomores will report to school at 7:20 a.m. to take the ACT Secure. This state accountability measure will allow students to see if they are on pace to be college-ready upon graduation. Students will break down their scores in May and be set up with a free ACT prep plan that is aligned to their individual ACT goals.
Sophomores will also take the state Social Studies Forward Exam on this day.
Job Fair
After testing concludes, freshmen, sophomores, and juniors have the opportunity to explore the job fair and learn about employment opportunities in the community.
Juniors: Career Expo
Juniors will participate in a variety of seminars related to their future career and college pathways. This includes seminars on the Direct Admit program, the college application process, the military recruitment process, and the workforce/apprenticeship preparation process.
After the seminars, students will visit with business leaders in our community to hear about career opportunities and short-term summer employment. At the conclusion, Juniors will learn about the importance of requesting letters of recommendation early and will receive a free professional headshot photo to use on resumes and professional presentations.
