Summit Elementary School is located next to the YMCA at Pabst Farms and serves approximately 470 students from 4K through grade 4. The staff of Summit Elementary is comprised of about 40 highly qualified professional educators. Our team maintains the standards and practices of a professional learning community, collaborating, and implementing best practices to further student learning. Summit Maker Space

Summit Elementary continues to be a leader in Makerspace and STEAM education (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). Our Makerspace has been a hub for learning, creativity, and innovation in our school and has attracted educators from throughout the area to visit and learn from our students and staff. The space continues to be a hub for learning, creativity, and innovation and allows children to be strategic, tinker, design, and build to extend their knowledge in all subject areas.

Summit Students Give Back

Summit Elementary students continue to make a difference in the local community, as well. They raised several thousand dollars for Jump Rope for Heart, collected food for the Oconomowoc Food Pantry, made blankets for the Linus Project, raised over $2,000 for Pennies for Patients, and raised more than $5,000 in order to start a Best Buddies chapter, one of just a few elementary sites in the state.
